Part Room Divider, Part Sculpture, Part Wardrobe

Inspired by Harry Roseman's Curtain Wall - the rippling artwork that greets travelers at JFK's Terminal 4 - Julio reimagined the piece as a folding screen carved with billowing curtains, their voids revealing flashes of polished stainless steel mirror. It's a quiet drama for the corner of a studio, the edge of a bedroom, or anywhere a wall feels too permanent.

Knobs on both sides invite personalization: hang a coat, a tote, a photograph, a piece of jewelry you wear most days. The frame folds and expands to fit the space you have, and adjustable feet keep it level on the uneven floors of older buildings.

  • Made to Order in the U.S.

The Details

Built from PureBond plywood - a domestically produced hardwood plywood made with a formaldehyde-free soy-based adhesive, safer for both your home and the people who make it. The carved curtain illustration is milled directly into the plywood face, with cutouts revealing panels of polished stainless steel mirror set into the surface.

The frame and knobs are brushed stainless steel - durable, recyclable, and quietly architectural - paired with aluminum feet that adjust in height to keep the screen level on the uneven floors of older buildings. The polished steel knobs echo the hardware on The Personal Items Table, a small thread of continuity across the collection.
