The Personal Items Table

Handcrafted using Carbon Smart white oak, a domestically grown hardwood sourced from forests managed to actively sequester more carbon than conventional forestry, with full chain-of-custody traceability from forest to finished piece. White oak is prized for its tight grain, durability, and the way it patinas over time, deepening in tone as it lives with you.

The inlaid illustrations on the top are individually cut and set into the surface by hand, using a mix of contrasting hardwoods to render each object — the warm pinks of cherry, the pale blonde of maple, the deep brown of walnut — chosen to give every keyring and coffee cup its own character.

The piece is finished with a hand-rubbed linseed oil and natural wax, nourishing and bringing out the depth of the grain. Polished stainless steel knobs at the base add a small architectural detail and a quiet nod to the steel frame of The Landing Daybed and mirror the knobs of The Arrivals Screen.
